The MJ Band Boosters are a vital part of the Mortimer Jordan HS and North Jefferson MS bands. Boosters support every facet of band activities from summer band camp, concession stand volunteers, chaperones, fundraiser activities, band banquet, competitions, parades, and other activities. Countless hours are spent by volunteers behind the scenes to ensure our students have a great experience in music education. It is hard work, but boosters are well rewarded with the personal growth and the accomplishments displayed by our students. All band parents are urged to become an active booster and attend the monthly meetings on the first Tuesday evening of each month. The meetings are held in the band room at 7:00 p.m. The band boosters also welcome anyone who is interested in actively supporting any band member to attend - everyone is welcome. Please make a point to come to the monthly meetings and support the MJ and NJ Bands.
